“Collaborating with a dear friend turned this into more than a design project; it felt like creating a sanctuary for extended family,” shares Ritu. The homeowners expressed a need for a home that resonates with clean lines, subtle sophistication and touches of their globetrotting adventures. The result? Dubber the Ivory House, a sense of warmth fills you as you take the first step into the foyer, adorned with framed travel photographs, a visual chronicle of the homeowner’s adventures. The bookshelf ahead gently defines the entrance to the heart of the home, the living room. Lush greens, cosy sofas and television create an ambience to socialise and relax while the neutral hues lend a nouveau touch to the vibrant decor.
However, it doesn’t stop there, the space opens up to a refreshful balcony. An ode to graceful transitions displays itself as you enter the indoors again with a wooden swing, that commands your attention and invites you to the dining space ahead.
