If furniture is functional art, are furniture stores the new art galleries? Sources Unlimited HQ leaves little room for doubt. Inside Worli’s Bandbox House in Mumbai, their first outpost in the city opened its doors in April this year. But this was not the only reason to celebrate. Their 25,000 sq ft headquarters spanning multiple floors with curved paths and flowing lines also marks 20 years of bringing global design to their Indian patrons.
Founder Falgun Shroff explains the philosophy behind the brand, “Never say no to designers, never say no to clients. Make the impossible possible.” Krupa Zubin, the Principal Architect and Founder of ZZ Architects alongside Zubin Zainuddin orchestrated the spatial experience of the South Mumbai store.

From Preciosa’s bohemian lighting to Masiero’s chandeliers, light fixtures from luxury labels worldwide ensure the store glows with exuberance. International brands like Giorgetti, Promemoria and Fendi Casa’s exquisite furniture collections exhibit a minimalist allure and Opulin India brings Turri’s Italian charisma to the Indian audience.
Whether your taste leans towards eclectic objets d’art or soothing textures that sport a sense of calm, the interiors of the Sources Unlimited HQ hold something for every design aficionado. “The idea was to create a space where you can experience different international brands,” reveals Krupa.
Inside the store, the line between decor and art quite literally blurs at Sicis’ arresting mosaic walls and the crystal creations by Daum. From maximalist splendour to subtle sophistication, there are no dull corners in this arched outpost. Collectibles from brands like Ardeco Gallery and 101 Copenhagen add hints of whimsy, hailing Sources Unlimited HQ as a comprehensive destination for all things design and decor, whether you are a designer or just looking to spruce up your space.
